Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 21, 2026

This policy explains what personal data CityVisionGo ("we", "us") collects when you use our website and app, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it. Questions? Email cityvisiongo@gmail.com.

1. Data we collect

  • Account details: your email address, name or display name, password (stored securely, never readable by us), and optional phone number. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email and profile photo from Google.
  • Profile and content you add: profile photos, bios, CityCard details, messages, posts, comments, event listings, images, audio, videos and other files you upload.
  • Tickets and purchases: the experiences you register for, tickets, check-ins, order history and the details you enter at checkout. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Host and payout details: if you host, your business details and the information our payment processor needs to verify you and send payouts.
  • Usage data: pages you view, features you use, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and error logs.
  • Location: your chosen city, and your precise device location only if you allow it (for example, to show nearby experiences).
  • Notifications: a device token if you turn on push notifications.

2. Why we use it

  • To create and secure your account and sign you in.
  • To sell, deliver and check in tickets, and to send confirmations, reminders and receipts.
  • To show you relevant experiences, hosts and communities in your city.
  • To let hosts manage their events, guests and payouts.
  • To answer support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
  • To understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who receives it

We share data only with services that help us run CityVisionGo, and only what they need:

  • Hosting and database provider — stores your account, content and uploaded files.
  • Stripe — processes payments and host payouts.
  • Google — if you choose Google sign-in.
  • Email delivery provider — sends account, ticket and reminder emails.
  • AI provider — processes questions you send to our Gio assistant.
  • Map services (such as OpenStreetMap) — receive map areas you view, not your account details.
  • Hosts — when you buy a ticket or join an experience, the host receives your name, email and the details you enter at registration.

We may also disclose data if required by law.

4. How long we keep it

We keep your account data for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal content. We may keep limited records, such as payment and order records, for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Tickets you already bought keep working from your confirmation email.

5. Your choices and deleting your data

  • Edit your profile and privacy settings at any time in your account.
  • Turn off notifications and location access in your device settings.
  • Delete your account inside the app: My Account → Account → Delete account.
  • Or email cityvisiongo@gmail.com to request a copy or deletion of your data. We'll respond within 30 days.

6. Age requirements and children

You must be at least 16 years old to create a CityVisionGo account or use Nexus and other social features, including profiles, communities, messaging and posting content. We ask for your date of birth at sign-up and do not create accounts for anyone under 16.

CityVisionGo is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. Younger guests may attend experiences when a parent or guardian buys and manages their ticket from the adult's own account. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 16, we will delete it. If you believe this has happened, contact cityvisiongo@gmail.com.

Social features and safety. Information you place on a Nexus profile or in a community may be visible to other users. Please don't post home addresses, financial details or information about children. You can block people in messages and report anyone you believe is under 16 or behaving unsafely; our team reviews every report.

7. Changes and contact

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date above. Contact us anytime at cityvisiongo@gmail.com.
